We do not hold the funds once it is voided in the backoffice. As far as we, and the processor, are concerned the payment is canceled. The bank marks the funds as pending. It can take a few business days for the funds to return to the patient’s account but the money will be there. The hold on the funds should not take more than 5-7 business days. Each bank handles voids differently, unfortunately.
