Description: Ability to setup basic payment plans for a patient.
Behavior: This permission allows a user to create basic payment plans, and manage/stop payment plans. For providers with Personalization, a staff user will only be able to see the payment plan options shown to the patient.
Custom Payment Plans
Description: Ability to create payment plans that follow the payment plan guidelines defined in SimpleePay.
Behavior: This permission allows a user to create payment plans that fit within the guidelines defined in SimpleePay. However, the payment amount cannot be lower than the provider defined minimum monthly amount and longer than provider defined maximum length (e.g. 36 months or 60 months). If the provider has Personalization, the staff user will be able to setup a plan for as low as the lowest offer shown to the patient, if the lowest offer is less than the provider defined minimum. To use this permission, the staff user must also have “Basic Payment Plan” permission.
Payment Plan Override
Description: Ability to override payment plan guidelines defined in SimpleePay and create plans of any amount and length (up to 100 months).
Behavior: This permission allows a user to create custom payment plans that exceed the provider defined minimum payment amounts and maximum payment plan duration. The payment plans can be setup for up to 100 months. To use this permission, the staff user must also have “Basic Payment Plan” permission.
